Giza Pyramids Tour
Visit the splendid Pyramids at Giza plateau, the three famous pyramids of the kings Cheops, Khefren, and Mykerinus. The majestic Sphinx & Valley Temple
The Sphinx depicts the king Khefren in its head, and the body of the sphinx is of a recumbent lion worked as a guard for the tombs “Pyramids”. In the opposite side of the Sphinx, is the Valley Temple of Khefren. Stop for lunch break at a top quality restaurant. Then we head to Memphis necropolis, the oldest capital of ancient Egypt and legendary city of famous King Menes, who unified the lands of Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt. Memphis city, was Pharaohs burial ground for a very long time up to 3500 years. Our last stop for today will be at Sakkara –a part of the great necropolis of Memphis, famous for the Step Pyramid of King Zoser.
Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo for overnight stay. You can attend light and sound show at Great pyramids area or enjoy dinner cruise with belly dance show in the Nile River, as optional tour.
Breakfast is served at the hotel in Cairo; then you will be escorted by your guide to visit the famous Egyptian Museum with extensive collection of 120000 items of ancient Egyptian antiquities from all kingdoms. You will also have a chance to see the golden mask of the child king Tutankhamun & his treasures, found mostly intact in his tomb at the Valley of The Kings on 1922 by Howard carter. Lunch meal will be served in a quality restaurant in the downtown. Then pay a visit to Old Cairo to see the Hanging Church of Virgin Mary and Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra and the Citadel of Saladin & Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Our driver will drop you off at Cairo airport to fly back to Hurghada with a private drop-off at your hotel in Sahl Hasheesh.
