You will start your tour by visiting the Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa found in 1900, dated from the second century A.D. and unique for their plan and for their decoration which is a mixture of Egyptian and Greco-Roman elements. The catacombs are three floors in depth and have numerous chambers cut out along the passage. Proceed to visit the well-preserved Roman Theatre brought to light after 30 years of excavation work underneath a Muslim cemetery.
