Trip to Petra from Sharm El Sheikh by flight

We will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh by our representative. Drive to Sharm El Sheikh airport to fly to Aqaba Jordan. You will then be escorted to Petra with a private guide who will be with you for the remainder of the day. The drive takes approximately 2 hours.
Petra: This afternoon you will explore the beautiful monuments of this “rose-red city”. Highlights include the Treasury, the Roman Theatre and the Royal Tombs. Petra covers a total area of about 100 square km, and there are more than 800 monuments carved into the rocky hills. Explore the Nabataean Kingdom in ancient Jordan. In your visit, you’ll see Petra’s main sights, including the Roman theater, temples, and the Treasure with an expert English-speaking guide in Petra’s 2,000 years of history.
Please, Note: You have 3 options of reaching Petra through the “Siq” or long entryway:
1. You can walk through the “siq” all the way to the Treasury which is about 1216 meters and takes about half an hour.
2. You can take a horse for the first 800 meters and walk the rest of the way to the Treasury.
3. You can take a horse-carriage (for 2 people) to the Treasury. However, there are only 9 carriages available and are on a first-come first-serve basis, and usually reserved for those with disabilities. So, this is only recommended if you are unable to walk.
Lunch meal will be served in a local restaurant in Petra.
After the visit, you will be transferred back to Aqaba airport to board your flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Transfer from Sharm el Sheikh airport to your hotel.
